I have received my boots, and I am very happy with them. Made in two weeks and they were posted Saturday by DHL and arrived Monday, that 3 day delivery was included In the price of 150 dollars. (I paid 160 to cover PayPal fee so he got 151 i tnink) .
They were a little tight at the very top so i wet them with rubbing alcohol and stretched them, wearing then till they dried. Now they a ok.

All enquiries were done via face book, they are based in Pakistan, very good communication, i was recommended to them by Chris Smith and I would recommend to anyone. They do all sorts of military boots and historic clothing. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

I think the beard needs to be a little whiter

The wig a bit greyer in places, like the same grey from the beard, if you look at the ref that would blend the 2. It could also do with a bit of texture, which would make it look less wig like. the grey bits you could put in with the sharpie and alcohol method

I seriously considering changing my wip to a generic General, rather than Dodonna, I'm 40 not 70 and am struggling to get the look.

My natural beard umis quite dark and a light grey is the whitest I can get using white colouring.
I have added some of the grey product docrhe wig to to be it down and get a nearer blend but still I, when I have the costume done I may just go for a Generic General and try again in 20 years ....ImageImage

So I have now got some white hair spray to add after the white paste stuff, this is the lightest I can get the beard.
The wig I have added colour too tone to be more towards the beard .....it's better I think ....

But not sure ...

Considering going generic rather than named character.

Standards say: 8. Gray/white hair, beard and mustache; appropriately styled. Prosthetics may be used. I honestly don't know if it's white enough. I can't find any other WIPS for comparision either.

If you want to proceed with doing dodonna, I would suggest posting in the Global officers for a LCJ/DXO/XO opinon.

I personally think its looking better, I wonder if the front of the wig could come off your face a bit (i know it can be a tricky balance with hiding the seam of the wig). maybe experiment with putting a tiny bit of paste on the eyebrows to tie it in?

Ok , so i was trying to find the clearance photos for other world wide members who have cleared Dodonna to seen far close they had got to hair and beard. Doing a goodie search I found photos of 3, none are white haired or beards. Can I post the screen grabs or not as a refence?

Ive posted over on the main forum with a WIP. And posted the recent hair and beard pics.
For info ( and will remove if requested ) a Google search for 'Rebel Legion Dodonna' brings up the below pics and I assume these are cleared.

Saying someone else cleared to the judges is not always helpful...........however the fact that people have cleared without it being white I think is good news, you do really look older and you have made it work well, so I think go for it....if its a no, we can regroup as it were and either further research or put in for generic.

Soft parts look good, be great to see it all together.
