Looks reasonable enough for a colour to work with.
Happiness is a warm A280. Or A300. Even a Glie-44 at a pinch.

And the results of my work

ETA going to get some wire wool or something to scuff the paint a bit more before I lacquer it.

Quick question, looking to attach the peak at the front of the donut and wondered if there was a specific length it should be?

Not as long as it looks right. You see some that look like a full length baseball cap peak and that doesn't look good to me. Mine is quite short at 38mm and I'd not want to go over 50mm if it were me. Have a look at some screencaps to get a feel of how it looks so you can try different lengths to suit your kit.

Yeah that makes sense. I have a peak but it seems to long to me. Going to try and trim it down before I glue it on.

Doing some measuring for my gators and decided to pop everything I have got now on for a try on. First thing i need to do is lose this lockdown weight Image

Otherwise I’m quite happy with it so far. Obviously I still need to paint the jacket and trousers, get some pouches and a blaster sorted but def making progress. I am thinking of leaving the bandolier for the moment though as I can’t think of how to make the greeblies at the moment and I’m not too happy with the webbing.

The front view makes the peak look a little long and angled down, is that how it sits? There's a nice side on screen cap showing it in ROTJ nicely with the lower edge of the peak level with the floor.

https://i2.wp.com/caps.pictures/198/4k- ... -10129.jpg

I doubt it would be a clearance issue but it's more of an appearance thing and might be a bit stronger as there's more surface area to glue.

The duster length is in the right area for a reasonable amount of swoosh.
Keep the trousers cuffs covered under the gaiters when they're on. A little blousing over the top helps with movement.
Boots and gloves look better with a good weathering. Digging about in the garden gives brown and greens that look natural.
Bandolier loops look a bit long as the parts I have measure 40mm diameter. The loops usually have 15 or 25mm spacing depending which ref you look at. There's an interesting guide:

https://studiocreations.com/howto/endor ... liers.html

That shows two different spacings, I prefer the smaller gaps personally. The bandolier though is an option in the standard, not mandatory.
The greebs I have are printed. You can get resin ones or scratchbuild.
A cheap and easy belt option is 58 pattern. I think I used those before replacing with US M1956 kit.

Looks good overall though. Get the greens on the fabric and you're nearly there.

Yeah I had to sort of fix it at that angle otherwise it sort of followed the shape of the donut and angled upwards which I didn’t like. I could probably try and make it a bit shorter if required though.

Thanks everyone Image

Done a few more things towards this project. I have adjusted the peak on the donut to make it shorter so hopefully it will look better.

Also got myself some pouches.

Also started work on my gators which are now at the sewing stage (I seem to be actively avoiding it Image)
Image

I’ve got all the paint I need for greening my outfit up. Just need to get some freedom from lockdown so I can get a victim to let me paint them ImageImage

Finally, Stevie is working on a blaster for me so I should have everything I need to finish this soon

Currently there's not a problem with 58 pattern pouches, but you may look a bit strange if you used the kidney pair under a duster on the rear of the belt. The eyelets on the gaiters should have between to 5 to 9 pairs.

Keep an eye on the discussion developments on the main forum.

They're not implemented yet but worth seeing how things are going. I think you're OK with what you have so far though. What blaster are you going for?

OK i will have a look. They didn't cost alot anyway so can look for others if need be.

Going for an endor rifle since i feel that it would be more in the style with a duster
